All of this unfolds against the backdrop of budget deficits, rising costs, political uncertainty, and a complex, unstable regulatory environment.

In this keynote, Marc Noppen will draw on real-world examples to provide insights and possible solutions to tackle these challenges and shape the future of healthcare.

Our speaker

Dr. Marc Noppen is a renowned physician and healthcare leader, currently serving as the CEO of the University Hospital Brussels. He obtained his medical degree from Limburgs Universitair Centrum (now UHasselt) and Vrije Universiteit Brussel, where he specialized in internal medicine and pulmonology. Dr. Marc Noppen played a pioneering role in the development of interventional pulmonology at UZ Brussel and is a part-time professor at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy at VUB.

In addition to his academic and clinical roles, Dr. Marc Noppen serves in advisory positions for various social-profit, employer, and private equity organizations. In 2021, he was named "Healthcare Personality of the Year" and authored the book Gewoon Anders, which details his experiences in COVID management and his vision for the future of healthcare.
